An empirical study of cold chain issues and performance: Applying structural equation modeling

چکیده
Abstract The food industry suffers from huge wastage and losses in products, reducing this waste loss is an issue the industry. Improvement cold chain performance will result minimization of wastage. reason for review to look at causal connection between different issues with through empirical validation. According goal review, seven theories were proposed dependent on a thorough writing survey frozen Evidence was found speculations. results hypothesis testing showed infrastructural facility, safety quality, awareness handling practices, responsiveness positively influence while increased efforts are required appropriate implementation integration, sustainability, traceability. While supply parameters affecting it has been critical exploration theme more than many years, scarcely any examination led that centers explicitly considered synergistically.

An Empirical Investigation of the Universal Effectiveness of Quality Management Practices: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach
Institutional theory argues that the isomorphic nature of quality management (QM) practices leads to similar QM implementation and performance among QM-embedded firms. However, contingency theory questions such 'universal effectiveness of QM practices'. Considering these conflicting arguments, this study tests samples from the U.S. and China to examine whether the 'universal effectiveness of QM...
متن کاملModeling Supply Chain Performance: A Structural Equation Approach
Supply chain management (SCM) has become an effective tool now a day to survive in this competitive world. Organizations do their best to improve performance by adopting better supply chain (SC) performance indicators. In this paper 19 key performance indicators (KPI) were identified based on strong literature support in consultation of practitioners and consultants in the field of non-livestoc...
متن کاملIssues and Opinion on Structural Equation Modeling
In the past few years, the IS field has seen a substantial increase in the number of submissions and publications using structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques. Part of the reason may be the increase in software packages to perform such covariance-based (e.g., LISREL, EQS, AMOS, SEPATH, RAMONA, MX, and CALIS) and componentbased (e.g., PLS-PC, PLS-Graph) analysis. Viewed as a coupling of t...
متن کاملHuman Capital and Business Performance: An Empirical Approach Using Structural Equation Modeling
The firm ́s human capital is a process referring to the sum total of individual and collective learning through training programs, experience and experimentation, among others. In-business ongoing training is one of the most important strategies for human capital development and it is crucial to sustain and improve workers’ knowledge and skills. Many businesses use continuous learning strategy, ...
متن کاملHUMAN METRICS AFFECTING SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF INDIAN MANUFACTURING ORGANIZATIONS
The manufacturing organizations today are having a competition of supply chain versus supply chain. Existing research work fails to relate human metrics with supply chain performance. The authors intend to empirically assess the effects of human metrics on supply chain performance in the context of Indian manufacturing organizations. A rigorous literature review has identified 12 variables. The...
